So what are you waiting for? The exciting opportunity to be part of this dynamic program has arrived.
It is always an amazing experience and privileged to have artist-in-residence from around the world sharing part of their lives with us at the Cowwarr Art Space. It is what makes the Art Space a very different place and gives us all a broader perspective on art and world affairs. The country location lends itself to a calm reflective experience.
It is also a great jumping of point to explore the Gippsland lakes, beaches and high-country the diverse environments of temperate rainforest's to alpine plains. You can be tucked away in your studio, or you may come out and join in the general Art Space activities, that can range from rowdy dinner parties were art is hotly debated, exhibition openings sipping wine around the artist bar or broader community events. Although we are situated in a tiny rural community we are well connected to the broader arts community.
